I'm Typing This with a Sleeping Infant on my Chest, Or, Why the Latest Review is so Late

Hey Folks! Mike Here.

So, about two weeks ago my very pregnant wife began showing symptoms of preeclampsia. We went to the doctor, were reassured, waited, rested, and then proceeded to scare the doctor half to death on our next visit. So, a week ago yesterday, my wife and I went into the hospital for what we thought was 24 hours of observation and tests.

The next morning, we had a Baby about five weeks sooner than we expected.

The following week was spent in the hospital with my wife, Visiting my sick son in the NICU, and trying to fit sleep in around the edges. As such, sadly, my review went by the wayside. But, things are looking up.

Today we happily brought home our new son, Xander John Cherniske, from the hospital. As such, things are calming down (as much as they can with two young children in the house), and I'll will post my review shortly.

Then, we'll be taking a break until the new year, again, my fault. Newborns are tough! Hopefully we'll get things in hand enough to finally get back on schedule by then. Kate and I already have our list picked out, and I'm excited for it!

Well, folks, thanks for understanding. We'll see you soon!

CONGRATULATIONS, Mike, Lanae, and Benji (or perhaps I should write: Lanae, Mike, and Benji)!

And welcome to the world of pop culture, Xander! (It is never too early.)
