Where to Find Star Trek: The Next Generation: Encounter at Farpoint

Hey, folks! Despite looking for a couple hours, I was unable to find this episode on any of the "Trusted Sources." "Trusted" here meaning LEGAL and Virus Free. A web search for "Encounter at Farpoint streaming" did yield a couple results that claimed to provide the video; however I did not pursue them any further than that (I'm just not a risk taker). SO, if you do pursue the online option through other sites, you do it at your own risk! It looks as though renting/borrowing the actual disc is our only option at this point. Try your local library or video store and be prepared to pull out the VHS tape player--just in case!!

Because I love you, here's something to ease the suffering a bit. Don't worry, we will survive!

I LOVE this video, Mike! I laughed my head off. Okay, I reattached it, so I could finish this comment.

I really like "Q" doing his little dance with the trumpet.

And of course, this is the perfect song: Star Trek just goes right on . . . surviving!! (Future anthropologists will be sure we worshiped it; it's one of the most reoccurring icons in our culture.)

yeah, when I was searching for the right video, I stumbled on this one and just knew, without a doubt, that it was the one.

I agree! Star trek is one of those enduring American franchises. Britain's is most certainly Dr. Who. The most interesting difference is how revered and beloved Who is there, while here, trek seems to be only tolerated!

but, I do live in a very rural and agricultural area right now, so I may be skewed on what the actually national opinion is. Here, anything not having to do with farming, hunting, or "real life" is worthless.
