Finding Supernatural Online

Hey, guys! Believe it or not, the first Mike-Kate video list is already at the halfway mark! Can it be? 5 weeks already? Where has the time gone? Well, just in case you're worried, we have FIVE glorious weeks left, as seen below:

6. Supernatural
: "Pilot," July 9th
7. Star Trek: Next Generation
: "Encounter at Farpoint," July 16th
8. Sarah Jane Adventures
: Episodes 0-2, July 23rd
9. Red Dwarf
: "The End," July 30th
10. New Doctor Who
: "Rose," August 6th

And, m/k-ers (gotta call our fans SOMETHING), that's not the end! Already, Kate and I are debating about a dozen lists and themes for the next round! We have nothing concrete yet, so if you have any ideas, leave them in the comments below!

So, as Supernatural is a MUCH newer show, there are only a couple places to find it online (that are legal and guaranteed virus safe):

iTunes, at the usual price of 1.99

Amazon: Video on Demand. $1.99

Unfortunately, both Netflix and Hulu are a bust this time around. Netflix has the disc, but it is not available to view instantly. After some checking, this is going to be a little more common with the second half of the list.

Below, as has become traditional, is a little video of our series this week. It's a little clip about a blooper that became really popular. The hilarious clip is after the interview.

And also, just because I liked it so much last week:

So the brothers get a Scooby gang! Does a show need to have a Scooby gang to use the Buffy theme?

One thing I like about Ackles' character IS his taste in music. It makes me feel just a little less like a teeny-bopper when I watch the show. Although in general, my 20-years-old folklore students don't react like teeny-boppers when the show is mentioned.

Okay, more of my thoughts tomorrow!

Some lists Mike and I have contemplated are:

Unknown or lesser known movies
Fantasy movies
Romance movies
Oldies
Comic book-based movies

Mystery shows

Musicals

Okay, the musicals were just me.

If you have a preference or a new idea, we would like to hear! There's just so many movies, and so little time!!

I'm all for the musicals, though a couple modern picks mixed in would be nice (and please, NO fiddler on the roof!)
